Rear Oil Seal Remover Update Kit J-42841-10

Use J-42841-10 to turn J-42841 into J-42841-A

The crankshaft bolts have changed on 2006-up Premium V8 engines, and existing tool J-42841 will not work with the new bolts. J-42841-10 is used to update the existing J-42841 Rear Oil Seal Remover to J-42841-A for servicing both 2006-up and prior year seals. Instructions for modification are included. The drill bit included with J-42841-10 is used to bore the existing holes to the new size requirement, and the existing tool, existing guide bolts, and new bolts bolts can be stored in the supplied pouch. Using the incorrect guide bolts can result in crankshaft damage.
