Pinion Seal Remover DT-49231

Applications: 2010 Buick LaCrosse, 2010 Cadillac SRX

The front differential used on Graziano and AAM RDMs used in Buick LaCrosse, Cadillac SRX, and Saab 9-3 XWD vehicles is installed into a recessed bore in the RDM housing. DT-49233 fits over the RDM pinion shaft into the body of the seal. The four piercing screws of DT-49231 are tightened to engage the seal shell, and the forcing screw of DT-49231 is tightened against the pinion shaft to draw the seal out of its bore. Unapproved methods will damage the RDM bore, and can damage the interface between the RDM and the TTD.
